Stefan, thanks again for putting in all the time to make this happen. I really
appreciate your work, and I'm sure everyone working on EFL feels the same.

Great, thanks. Is there some way to prevent this from happening again in the

Hi,
I don't see a reason to delay the schedule. Nobody was prevented from doing

Hi,
I am looking to attempt a stable release sometime around next Wednesday (17
April 2019) so that we can pull in any fixes which have been made to catch more
noticeable issues. At that time, I will personally handle backporting for any
patches which are not already backported.

I've just attempted to upload pre-release tarballs to
download.enlightenment.org into the directory
/srv/web/download.enlightenment.org/pre-releases
I received a permission denied error and was unable to upload tarballs. Is this
the correct location for them?

Seems reasonable. Is that page intended to load in under 15 minutes or are we
having server issues again?

This seems reasonable to me at a glance. Would it be worthwhile to stop

Hi,
Backporting of theme changes has always been allowed and has been something
I've been doing for years now. I don't see why this would change.
I'm not sure where you've seen theme changes for gadgets, however, since there
haven't been any for over a month.

No, there will be a migration wizard which handles this automatically.

A lot of progress was made in moving to the new gadget system, but there's
still more work to be done: I think there are 4-5 more gadgets remaining before
gadget parity is achieved.
Ideally we'll see gadcon and shelf removed in the release after this one.

Hi,
As the original commit message states, this change is necessary in order to
provide synchronization with Wayland. If you can implement the same
synchronization in another way then I have no problem with a revert. If not,
however, something else will need to change in order to compensate.

It's that time again! Stefan is off this week testing mountain robustness, so
I've been pressed into service as the temporary pre-release release manager for
this pre-release release.
**What's New In This Release**
- Flaming text
- Bug fixes?
- Some other stuff!
You may notice that
Stefan is off this week destroying some mountains, so I'm going to be cobbling
together some release stuff.
Expect an alpha within the next couple days and schnitzels to follow.
