Hi all.
Some applications ( java apps, and also an app of mine ) always open new
windows on my laptop's screen, even though I launch them on a 2nd LCD
screen. Changing the 'Window Display' policy doesn't seem to affect them.
I'm running E19 from git, by the way.
I have no idea what the java apps
Hi all.
I've just installed Linux on a new Macbook ( new job, mac-only place
). I now have a HiDPI display, and I'm figuring out how to make things
work. Setting up scaling for E was easy - for the primary laptop
display anyway.
I've read at: https://developer.gnome.org/gtk3/stable/gtk-x11.html

Hi all.
I'm getting temporary display hangs, occasionally ( 3 or 4 times a day
). When it happens, the display stops updating, but the mouse
continues to respond to input. Everything else appears to continue
running and accepting input, and music continues to play. These hangs
happen in *pairs*,
Hi all.
I've built everything according to README.wayland, using the easy_efl.sh
script. Specifically:

export LIBRAW_CFLAGS=-I/usr/include/libraw
export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/opt/efl/lib/pkgconfig
./easy_efl.sh -u \
--skip-depcheck \
--threads=4 \
Hi all. Recently - I'm guessing after commit
b8322b2b0e526910030907b1227dc8072d456336 - maximising *some* gtk+
windows is buggy. Evince, in particular, triggers issues. The window
size selected is a *little* too large in both dimensions, and also the
positioning is wrong. I'm have a primary LCD
Yikes. I just finished telling my 7-year-old that dummy-spits are not
the best way to get people to do what you'd like them to do.
Anyway ... what you've done is create a .desktop file in
~/.local/share/applications ... as noted in this thread. Next, you
need to add this to your launcher bar (
