I just tried to install Mandrake 7.2. It got all the way through the
installation but died on the network configuration When trying to
configure for local LAN it didnt seem to detect my card... I have never
had problems with other versions of Mandrake and its the same

is the same behavior happening on 3 separate machines, all with
completely different BIOS's, only when upgrading to 7.2 from

This is a problem with the logrotate scripts.
they loop somewhere and create multiple /var/log/mail/fil.gz.gz.gz.gz.gz.gz

Actually I did fix it. The thing was that one of the scripts was trying to
use wvdial to connect, and it is not installed. I found out when I saw the
ifcfg-ppp0 file that had an WV=something entry and after I removed it,
