I agree. I have mixed various positives and negatives over 10 years. I've
never had any transfer. But I have never mixed cats who had not been
vaccinated first. It's just not that easy to transfer the virus.

Isn't lysine odorless and tasteless? I've got to admit to never having
tasted it.
On Sun, Mar 9, 2008 at 2:41 PM,
Crush L-lysine tablets (500mg) and sprinkle the powder on top of, or mix the
powder into, a little bit of canned food (or more canned food if that is more
convenient). I add to a small amount to my cats' food to make sure they get it
all but a feral will likely eat all the food anyway.
I'm sorry he didn't make it, Sherry. I'm sure he's at the Bridge
bragging you all up. Hugs.

l-lysine is a wondrous thing. tricks the herpes virus into not replicating,

Gee, Lynne. You don't believe in miracles? What a ridiculous thing to
say! I
fully understand your disgust with these people. I don't know that
you're
going to get satisfaction from them, if they're capable of such poor

Good for youI'm not surprised you're furious Lynne. The surprise
would be if you weren't. From your description of them, they are not
good people--they're at the opposite end of the spectrum from you and
the good folks on this list, their only interest in animals being the
profit they can make
Thank you Lance for your kind words. I know, I would get nowhere legally.
I have joined a discussion group about pets on the site where I learned Boo

behaviour for him to die exactly one month after we got him. They knew there

Hi Lynne
Why not dedicate your efforts to expose these people in BooBoo's memory.
It is not about being angry or vindictive, but preventing these
people from animal
abuse, which this appears to be. Refusing to care for a sick animal
is criminal.
Just remember; 'what comes around . they
Well, what I have done I guess Jane for Boo is to educate myself about horrible
diseases I didn't even know existed before. Yeah, we had our other two cats
vaccinated in their younger years for whatever it is they insist you vaccinate
for but they lived to be so old, Len is still hangin
I am not sure about the ratio question--since I mix it with canned food.
However, I purchase it at Whole Foods--but have seen it at most regular drug
stores, too.

I don't have a copy of his bloodwork, but it is in very, very, early stages.
