Hi. We rescued a one to two year old cat about 5 weeks ago. She has had a temp
anywhere from normal (June 19) to 107 (June 26). Her blood work this week
indicates she has a low white blood count and is also anemic. She has no other
symptoms (other than recent lethargy) and is still interested

Please make sure the Baytril is low dose.
Baytril causes blindness in cats in higher doses.
One vet attributed Frankie's blindness to several rounds of low dose baytril.
Another vet thinks his blindness is genetic.

I would suggest keeping them in a safe room with everything they need.
Preferably your bedroom or other room where they will encounter only you.
Rescue remedy rubbed in non hairy part of ears and also feliway plug ins may
calm them.

My experience: Frontline caused a severe allergic reaction in my Winston.
He was severely itchy and rolling back for months. I won't use it again.
