tHE MORE i HEAR ABOUT SOME VETS, i AM SO GLAD i HE dR. rHODES. He spends time with them, listens to my ideas , reads up on things and if I am willing to pay fr the treatment/tests, he will do them even if he thinks it might not be necesary. I haver instructions in front of me. It says 1 81 mg every 3rd day. I questioned her about it when she told me to give it. She explained it all to me which she is very good at doing. Marcia, check that baby aspirin dose again with your vet. I've never heard of giving more than 1/2 a baby aspirin ever 72 hrs. We put dexter on it for the last few weeks of his life and I feel that if we had started sooner, he might have lived a bit longer. My Elmo did not have felv but a rare auto immune disease. He had the same symptoms as yours. Elmo had a very low red blood cell count (his body was attacking his own) and needed a blood transfusion. Marcia, Has Fletch had a blood transfusion yet? I've heard this helps tremendously. Did your vet tell you she will order the LCTI? Did she do any lab work to find out what his blood cell counts are?
