My Edirol PC-50 keyboard is fading out - I could deal with the
occasional missing note, but it's gotten to be too much. I only use
this keyboard for MIDI input for Finale, so I don't care about bells
whistles (or helicopters or recorders). I do want a 49-key device.

Is there any way to globally adjust augmentation dots for eighth
rests? There's way too much space between the eighth rest and its
dot. The global dot adjustment only seems to work for notes, not
rests. I'm using FinWin 2009, although it's been happening since at least 2008.

You might try selecting the measures, BREAK the Multimeasure rest (I
know, just humor me), then try to create it again. Won't hurt to try,

You can save yourself a bit of trouble by doing this: after you delete the
content, save the file as a template file (*.ftm). Just open this file
