Just because an open source project isn't releasing a lot does not
mean it is losing momentum. Unless you are actually making that
conclusion by looking at the source changes and whatnot in whatever
they are using to keep the source base up to date (github?).
I think finale will probably be on a l

So that might be an issue.
If you are going to get a new Mac, spending the $100 or so to upgrade to 2012
of Finale is a very minor cost.

As a windows guy, the re-write is probably of use to you. They probably
optimized the code base, and made it perform better. So decades of shitty code
has been flushed for stuff that runs better. Probably will make it easier going
forward for BOTH versions of Finale (Mac/PC)
Yet another file fo
It's probably something that was supposed to work in an earlier finale
but didn't and they have now fixed it and rebranded it.
Like how many times have they done slurs in finale? Way too many...:

Didn't Finale a long time ago KILL off the Note Mover? And now it is back?
What? Is that a step forward or backwards?
The BIG question for me is how well will TGTools work. I use that plugin DAILY,
and it seems to not work at all (the full version). Copying the Plugin into
Library->Application
Well, how likely is that? He hasn't "officially" updated it to work with
anything other than Finale 2010, and still refers to Coda Music on his site
(www.tgtools.de)
I know that MakeMusic uses some of the TGTools stuff with Finale 2014, and
those seem to work. Why doesn't MakeMusic just buy out
Well, I had to copy the plugin to the new Finale 2014 folder in the Library
folder (I'm on a Mac).
It shows up, but none of the things seem to work...which is not good. I use
TGTools daily in Finale.

It's not so much the menu disaster, it's that none of the plugins seem
to work anymore.
That is a bigger problem.
