Do you happen to have either Xorg or XFree86 installed rather than
Apple's X11? tetex is the one example that we've found so far which
when built vs. Apple's X11 fails with XFree86 or Xorg.
If so then you need to rebuild tetex

Are you using Apple's X11? It _should_ have the missing dylib, so
maybe you're just suffering from a missing file from your X11User
installation.
