Robin, You just unpack jetty, then unpack BlazeDS into webapps/BlazeDS
subfolder. Then go to the /bin subfolder of jetty and run either
exe(windows) or "./jetty.sh run" on Mac/Linux
Finally go to the browser and check http://localhost:8080 to see jetty start
page.

can get push over HTTP with very low latency and high scalability. We just
completed implementation of Servlet 3 API that provides "native" push

Let us review the goal - in the original post I explained that single
group causes stagnation. If you agree with the numbers and reasoning behind
it, let us look at the proposition in that light. IMHO, the mentioned
measures while staying within the same single group would probably exten
developer level, much faster/easier
search and better networking.

Overall the "comfort level" is achievable within 2-3 month. During that
period be very careful with overriding system pre-installed components like
MySQL as OS X versions of such widely used products have very limited
