FrameMaker does not seem to make the break as Indesign did with Pagemaker.
Footnotes won't break. No endnotes. No error lists. And very expensive! Too
many crashes it seems. Where has the stability gone? The chat support is
feeble and uninformed.

century typesetting. Back to the future department.
Here it is:

Our attempts to have a real progress bar have come to naught. So FM11 does
not print big books to ps and hangs while saving.
Anyone know where are the sample scripts or instructions not in the help
file for sure.

**BUG**
There seems to be a troublesome problem with the new line numbering option
in FM 11.
If you use line numbering and use a side head for paragraphs, the text to
the right or left of the side head disappears on the screen. The print
output via PDF is fine, but the GUI is broken.
I am
with
over 90 files you can see why I need some scripting help or something. That
works out as about 9,000 individual deletes.
The reference page apparatus sure does need some redesigning.

Well, yes, but was not surprised when it did nothing. L is my most
there.
Anyway I can endorse the Clean Import route to reduce reference files
especially when they are more than 100!.

a quick update. there is an additional workaround that has been posted. We
have posted a utility which will do the suitable modification to make FM10
launch successfully. you can download the utility and how to run it, from
the original blog post
came with TCS4 so I upgraded by default.

I would like to add a few notes of confusion. I have many fonts, perhaps too
many. To my certain knowledge I have only installed one font myself (Goudy).
My fontcache.dat is over 2 megabytes. However, I am not experiencing
problems. I thought "too many fonts" was a big problem for Windows 98
ind out where I m going wrong..

The Adobe forum opines that this is a result of a circular referent within
the document so that FM can never catch up with the indexing.
I have looked for all such possible solutions, but am still getting the same
message.
