commands if you are using portmaster:
1. portupgrade -f 'autoconf*' 'automake*'
2. cd /usr/ports/devel/autotools; make install
3. portupgrade -a
But as the first steps (portupgrade -f) gives the error reported before…

seems like the raw device is not allowing anything to edit the first sectors.
Keep in mind that an Olive install effectively turns your BSD box into a
Juniper box, so the boot procedure will be different, which is why I'm leaning
toward this.
