Hello,
Is anyone noticing an issue when portsentry is started on 5.2.1-p8 it
atempts to bind to a tcp or udp port the first one listed in the
portsentry.conf file and immediately core dumps with a signal 4? I have
tried this on two machines with identical results.
Suggestions welcome.

to work perfect. I've tested and found that 1000, and even 1100 still

Frankly I hadn't thought of that. You can configure portsentry to monitor
any port *and* to ignore certain hosts, so I would think it could monitor
port 22 although I haven't tested it personally.

I just installed 5.2.1-RELEASE on a RAID1 setup (atacontrol using
