24 2.8 Ghz Intel core duo with 4GB RAM and various external FW drives
available.
Our primary intention was to use the setup to digitize old VHS
material but we've seen how conveniently it replaces the VHS

Use Disk Utility on the computer that will mount the low density
floppies and create disk images of them.
These can be copied to whichever removable medium that will work on
both computers and transferred to your G4. Drag them to your desk top
and mount them in sequence.
