Make sure your firmware is updated before you abandon OS 9; most
firmware updates are done with OS 9. What model Mac? If it is a beige
G3 and you want to run 10.3 or 10.4 you will need OS 9 to boot with
XPostFacto. Otherwise, it sounds like you don't need it. I kept an

drafts. I was working on one the other day and then looked in Drafts,

experience with jpegs is that the inherent nature of how the
compression it uses works, very little quantities of data loss equate

Speed CD-RW and the drive closes for a moment, then opens back up. I
can burn CD-R on the drive with no problems. Is the problem the CD-RW
