Hello everyone,
I am a die hard mudder and normally use mushclient. But because I want to be

finally want to give a serious try to zmud or better yet cmud because Zmud is
no longer updated.

Hi Thomas,
Thanks for the complement there. Indeed I will continue adding features, so
you may have to give in to the dark side eventually. Grin. Looking into
object serialization next, and possibly some unicode support.

Hi Muhammed,
Yes, it does work quite well from what I've gathered. There were some
changes made to the audio part to make it work better on x64 systems in this
last beta, so anyone who has previous had problems with it on x74 should
grab the new build.

I've been using bgt very well on win7 x64. Now that the audio is fixed, I've

Just some advice for you. People could answer when they feel like it and if
they can't answer, that means somethings happened I don't know but something
that I'm not going to bring up although I don't know anything unusual or

Hi.
Mushclient can be extended to support MSP I'm pretty sure. Also, monkeyTerm
doesn't support MSP but I can make it support it pretty easily if you want
to use that. MSP isn't that hard to make a trigger to support.

Yes but mushclient does not work with the simutronic games, i tried.
Not that IO have gotten it to work with zmud yet either, i dont find it that
intuitive at all to start playing. I suppose I would need to select a mud like
dragonrealms from the masterlist that is in zmud but I dont find it easy
this is probably a silly question, but what are simutronic games?

These are muds that you pay for each month, hey all have a 30 day free trial

You need to use special client to connect to them although they are a lot like

Why doesn't mush work with those simutronic whatevers you spell that?

Why would you want to add unicode support to an audio game creation
tol that uses mostly audio, just wondering. s it really worth it?

Hi Oriol,
It would be useful in order to represent strings in other languages than
English, however I have just figured out how to make it use the extended
ascii charset (e.g. characters from 0 to 255 rather than 127) so this may be
enough.

Because they use some proprietary protocols.

could you connect to these muds using vipmud in the standard manner? or
would that not be possible.
Also, out of pure interest what is so great about them that you have to pay
monthly amounts. The other commersial muds I've heard of worked on a system

Yeah, if anyone can get an accessible client for these, i'm all for playing

Hi.
I've just redownloaded rs monopoly and stuck it on my desktop (nice to see the
familiar London board out there now).
Out of interest though, is there a way of stopping sapi reading the entire

As i tried to explain earlier, they dont seem to work with standard mudclients

addresses to connect to for sure (there are some addresses on the zuggsoft

actually contacting them directly and asking for the connection information.
Afterall, it's deffinately to their advantage if more people are playing
