I completed most of the infocom games in 3-4 hours. I think the longest IF
game I played was worlds apart and that took me 6 hours to complete. Any
suggestions on longer IF games would be appreciated.

What I do is save the game right before the cars start going faster that way
if I die, I can resume the game from the saved location. You save the game

Oh, believe me, they are there. They're in the lower areas of level 1, I
haven't beaten level 1 yet so I don't know about level 2 yet, but I'm sure

there used to be a linux machine that one could telnet to and play the
infocom games on it. it went away about a year or two ago and I miss it so
