that had GIMP specific instructions. If anyone knows of good directions
for comic art using GIMP, that would help a lot.

GIMP, I am able to briefly get the pen working again, but always with
the same end result that eventually it loses the ability to draw.
Has anyone experienced anything similar, and does anyone know if there
is any kind of fix for this behavior?

Gimp-Print 4.2. It seems like I *only* have Gutenprint 5.0 installed. So
why is GIMP saying, in the About button in the print interface) that

will remove all antialiasing.

Failing all that, then you would need to download the .tar files,
uncompress it, and install from scratch.
In any case, once you install GIMP-Shop, it takes over as your GIMP
interface, and that's all there is to it.

something accessible by mouse and/or pen tablet, then it might also be
potentially accessible by keyboard.

So I had hoped that I could make a keyboard shortcut to the same action
that the middle mouse button does, but it seems that it's not possible.
It looks like the only way to get panning from the keyboard is to wait
for GIMP version 2.4.
