Perhaps Millennia should have one of those that we can all use for that purpose
instead of all of us setting one up …

And quite rightly so. Attachments can be dangerous, and since it is clear that
many Luggers cannot read instructions (etiquette in particular) how can we
trust what is attached?
To see what I mean scroll to the end of this email and take a look. I have
deliberately left the Legacy details in.

Ron,
Do you ever view web pages with images? I bet you do, as well as almost
everyone on this group. An image attached to an e-mail is no different, from a
security perspective, than any other image on the web. This scare mongering
about the dangers of image attachments is just plain wrong!
A moot point for purposes of this discussion since demonstrating the
nothing that occurs with some clicks would best be done via an onsite visit.

You are correct. You can’t click in the children’s list to automatically add a

One other thing. The Legacy techs are not logged into this mailing list 24/7.

I've used Millenia's genealogy program long before Millenia was part of the
scene. I've followed every iteration up to and including the current v.8.
I have to report this v.8 is the flakiest effort that has been produced
thus far, and I am personnally getting tired of having to deal with errors,

In defence of Legacy 8, I must say that, after a few glitches in the first
few days of using it, I have had no problems at all. I have had no 3421 or
other error messages. The only time I've had to export to a new family file

I'm so sorry to have sent this thread off on a tangent about

My apologies. I'm also one of those who sometimes forgets to trim my

Gene,
I'm a beta tester and I tend to know the regular error numbers. This one
was unfamiliar and I both looked it up in the Troubleshooting help and
searched my email and the bug tracker for a mention.
I found one mention relating to the Geodatabase.
