numbers on the right? I know that righttag is an option for the amstex

Hello,
I'm writing a IEEE Tran paper (twocolumn) and need to
write a very long equation, but I can't force Latex/Lyx to use
both columns for it. Is there any way to do this?
Thank you,
Matias.
Thanks!!

Hi,
I have a multiline equation. How can I cross-reference inside the equation,
such as:
x=y+5 by equation 1.2
z=t+r
...
I tried tusing a table, but then I couldn't have the display formula feature
inside a table... Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,
in section 5.4 in he lyx user guide (german) is a eq_array shown, where the
1. and 2. equation is numbered and the 3 is not. How can i do that ?
Pressing "alt m n" like described there turns only all numbers on or of. What
is the trick ?

It was a silly question, sorry! I only need to substitute "\[" "\]"
