The problem with the iPod touch is that it is old. It's technology is two
generations behind in terms of the processor. That is something that is hard to
overcome, and my guess is that the next time Apple comes out with an upgrade to
its OS, the iPod touch fifth-generation won't be coming along.

Nope, you can't lock the screen and have iBooks continuously read. But you can
lock the orientation on your iPod so picking it up and moving it won't change

No, Kindle books are not accessible on the Mac. There might be a way to jump
through a bunch of hoops and lose the drm and thus be able to access them. but

The point of my statement re the dock wasn't that you couldn't use it with an
IPad if you want, must by purchasing an extender cable or buying an airplay

I have been wondering about this quit app feature and what happens if you've
had to force quit an app because it was misbehaving in some way. Next time you
open that app, you sure don't want it reverting to the state it was in just
prior to your having to force quit it.
