Is this a concern: I can hear the hard drive in my MacBook. I used
to hear it in all my old PCs but this is the first time I remember
hearing it in my MacBook. It's not grinding or anything, I can just
hear the drive spinning. I honestly don't remember it before this
last week or so.
I suppose you back your phone up. Is it backed up on a mac or pc? It
could be as easy as a hard start. If not restore it from iTunes.

It's out my USB and into a USB on a shelf system at work. It drops
out wether it's Pandora or iTunes. Nothing is running except iTunes,

I've had a lot of issues with my macs. 2 logic boards, a position
sensor, and a backlight on my iBook and a battery issue with my
MacBook. So far, what keeps me coming back is the customer support.
They fix it right and fast. And the fact that I just like macs.

had been used for in the past was a simple backup drive. So I have
two questions now that I've done it. If I loose my hard drive on my
MacBook, will it take me back to that date exactly without backing up

Mine did that on the 3rd logic board. I just quit, bought a new
macbook and never looked back. That is after letting some poor mac
tech support guy know what I thought about it.

The recent death of Eric's iBook G3 800mhz is announced. Last
Wednesday, it was rushed to a local Mac guy who pronounced that the
logic board was failing or had already failed. It was the 3rd
installed on the computer. The bill to fix it was more than was
currently in the bank account

I don't think that will be an issue. I have a really old TV that I
got for free in my last move. I had to go to Target and buy a RCA to
co-ax converter thing. I got one that lets me plug in several things
at once. It cost something like $20.

I have a 60 gig iPod video. I love it. I would consider how much
space you have on a hard drive. I filled up my hard drive on my
iBook in just a few weeks. Mostly Lost episodes. But I do enjoy
it. It made me buy a external to hold most of my music library. I
