well on iMac, but do not use the ssd only the hard drive part of the fusion

A while back, in the Windows days, i read about a nerd that was thoroughly
convinced about this method:
1. Do the command + r when you hear the start up chime.
2. Shift - vo + down arrow to interact with the table.
3. Go down to disk utility and hit shift - command + up arrow to stop interact
You can turn it off manually. Then turn it on again after an app install for
instance and turn it off again. You cannot delete backups manually either, but
i think it works fine anyway.

I am just guessing here. I believe the ones who experience choppiness have one
common hardware. The spinning hard drive. Those who have an ssd hard drive do
not experience this. SSD is the best uppgrade in the computer world since 2005.

I thought for 3 weeks that i had an hardware problem with my iMac. It was put
in hibernation mode every 20 minutes no matter my adjustments in the save
current preferences. After a while i was wondering why i could hear the music
when it was put to sleep, but never when i did put it to sleep
without login screen.

I am using the timer on iPhone. Hitting restart on Windows and as fast as i can
double tapping on the timer. A couple of days back i did restart and watched
the timer when the LaCie was connected to thunderbolt. The
