why are cards still showing up in Walet?

Okay, I just removed two credit cards from my Apple pay data in icloud.com and now there should be no cards there at all. Yet, when I open my Walet app on my iPhone, the cards still show. Any idea why? I got notifications that both cards had been removed and I also got the correct e-mail.
