The biggest costs are usally labour, so if you have access to the equipment
and have the skills to do the work then there is a good chance of making
money. There are other factors such as the purchase price of the vehicle to
be restored and having good contacts to get parts at the right price
Back in the mid 80's there was a company that was importing V8 GM diesel
motors over here to re-power landcruisers and the like. However the motors

I am a bit disappointed in the fuel consumption figures, especially given
that my 230E is round about 12.5l/100k's and has a lot more power. Then
given the fact that diesel is usally about 10cents dearer than petrol the
300D and 230E cost about the same to run.

Not a problem, just make sure that it is centred on the very bottom of the

Also make sure your front wheels are blocked and of course do not get under

I have seen a 450SLC converted to manual to rally. It is owned by Joe
Alexander and he was not happy because they bumped him into modified class
because the 450's never came with manual, I seem to remember him saying that
he pulled the gearbox out of a 350SLC.
Plus there are lots of instances

I like the question about wether it has a sunroof now or in the past.
Perhaps you mericans make a habit of welding up sunroofs.
