Curt, if I remember correctly, the 900 can have either a cable or
juice clutch. I had one of each.
Clutch cable has a sort of tensioner behind the pedal. Very quick fix
and known problem.

I'll check the wheel weights.
I'm just ticked because I brought it in with no shake at all- but a
blown ball joint. Now it shakes like a s.o.g.

was installed (factory rebuilt) and was defective 50 miles down the
road. This one, the third, is most likely fine by I want to hear from
the list on this 1-2 shift and if it is softer than the other shifts.

The Mobil 1 made a great improvement in my 300D 2.5. The dealer put it
in when I had a factory refurbished transmission installed. They
recommended it. It shifts much better when cold.

The Goodyears were balanced by the MB dealership and the Graspics by a
tire warehouse.
Anyone had experience with this- the Graspics are snow tires- should I

That is a good question- I've been wondering about mine too. I have at
least 1/4 inch play on mine with slight noise at startup for about 10
minutes. How can we tell when the tensioner pully or spring etc. are
failing? Watch for wobble in the pully?

notice striking symptoms, just a degradation. The 2.5 with working mounts
should feel, in terms of vibration, very much like a 4cyl gasser. At least
Dwight's does!
