I have had really good results using grout able vinyl tile over existing tile. It is recommended that you use a texture filler On the original tile so that the texture does not eventually mirror on the new tile. Best to make sure the seams do not line up on the old and new tiles as well.

Got back yesterday from my trip, started the ML after it had sat at the airport for 9 days, started right up then died after a second with dreaded START ERROR light in the cluster.  $h*t. Started it a coupla more times, same thing.  I finally cycled the remote fob (which needs a new battery)
