little/no diesel experience

I put KYB on my Wife's Infiniti a couple years ago, and I won't go that
route again. They are too firm, compared to the old struts, and I had
to get one replaced under warranty. Later I read on the Infiniti board
that the general consensus on KYB's is that they're junk.
