is only for local attach printers then the only solution I see until MS issues
a patch is for the RDP/Citrix server to not have any local attach printers.

Good catch!
Add this one to the book of "why never to hardcode addresses or names of
devices not directly under the code's control"

Hi all,
I'm about to throw in the towel on a remote server.
The local tech says the server is in a reboot loop, I had him try the following;
1. Startrep
2.sfc /SCANNOW /OFFBOOTDIR=d:\ /OFFWINDIR=d:\windows
3.Remove each ram stick individually
4.reseat RAID card
5.Disconnect each drive (only 2
ware, safe mode, etc, etc). There comes a
point where troubleshooting is no longer cost-effective.

Is it the only DC in that domain?
Is it not giving any extra information
at all on the screen? What about Safe Mode?

Do you control the firewall at HQ? Are there any country-specific deny rules
in place, or ip-based deny rules that correspond to your Kenyan ip addresses?
