For the first option, the description says you should use it only for
testing. That's why I switched it off.
For the second it says, the calculation takes longer.
That's why I will try with the last option on only.

However if you select Attach to The Roads then OsmAnd will provide better

Give it a try by creating a short route and use the Simulate Navigation

In summary, using the Attach to The Roads will clean up
I am using OsmAnd's turn-by-turn navigation (with voice instructions in my
earphones, so I don't need to look at the screen) for gpx-tracksvery often,

Works fine.
Once the gpx is in My Places with display on, it's available when tapping

When I start navigation I choose "follow truck"

Turn by turn navigation doesn't work

-click more
-plan a route
-select profile
-options (should offer the option . new file?)
-select navigation
-details
-save as new track

Oh, you used a gpx file rather than the map. It's probably something to do
with that. You might want to provide more details if you want some help
such as where you got the gpx from, or even provide the file.

I get the same with voice navigation when hiking along a gpx.
One thing is to set the tolerance distance. Outside the tolerance distance,
recalculation starts. It's somewhere in the navigation settings for the
profile. This is location dependant, so it relies on the gps-accuracy of
your device
Nope, I used a different GPX file and different road on the way home. I
also try to record the track, maybe that record causing the problem? Or the
smart recalculate mode? Because I turn it on too.
