The snow's gone but the fields are just not quite ready (despite the
unseasonably warm temperatures) to don their spring colours just yet.
That is beautiful photo! Compelling composition.

Cool shots. The last one is indeed a good photo but I don't feel too good about
the rendering. Just doesn't feel right to me, almost artificial (my words
fail me just now).

Hi all,
Rather than hang out with friends and drink beer today, I decided to
take the K-x out for a stroll. I actually used something besides my
A-50/1.7 or K 50/1.4, believe it or not. This time, I used my crusty
old Tokina SZ-X 28-200 f/3.5-5.3.

I don't care what they call it but a K-r with 16 MP?
I'm interested.

I noticed that mirror slap was much quieter with the MZ-3 and ZX-5n.
and while those mirrors were a bit smaller than the LX mirror they
weren't all that much smaller. The *ist-D seemed to use the same
mirror box reflex mirror assembly that the MZ/ZX series film camera used.

I know a lot of PDMLers use Posterous, so you probably got (or will

Mirror Slap would be an excellent name for a band, especially one made
up of guys old enough to actually remember what mirror slap was.
When this 52 year old looks in the mirror in the morning, it is
definitely a mirror slap.

All those methods use power, which is sucked out of the battery. Larry
want's a passive mechanical lockup. I understand why, I just don't
think it's likely given that it would probably require a complete
redesign of the mirror/shutter mechanism. Electronic lockup, as you've
noticed, is
