I decided to do it this way, possibly because it is faster and doesn't eat the
camera's battery.
However, I have been in contact with a person specialized in recovery disks and
cards from hardware failures,

downloading, but he wanted the camera to be repaired...

Well, finally at home after a safe but not exactly nice trip:
Plane delay, almost didn't take off because pilots don't want to work more than
stablished hours, woman get sight in flight: 'is there a doctor in the plane?',
lost connection, had to sleep in Madrid and thake the first morning flight

yes, the K-x AF-performance is a veritable step forward, now it works
flawless

Thanks for the comparison. It seems that one of the weak points of my
K20D, the AF, is somehow addressed. I hope that the change is more
noticeable that when I moved from the istDs to the K20D...it improved,
but not that much.
The lack of hyperprogram is a shame. I love the ability to be in P
I read somewhere that these have the same problem that the 'old' NiMHs, this
is, the loose their charge in few days/weeks of no use.
This may not be a problem for planned shotting situations (trips,
assignments,...), but I much prefer the Eneloop type behaviour, when you can

My friend uses CR-V3 rechargeables in his *ist-DL and is very happy with them.
They last a lot and it seems that they do not loose their charge.
Unfortunately, I think that Pentax has physically prevented the K-x from using

I was not impressed with the Eneloops. Other than not having to pre-charge
them
