It's better to get your photos right at the time of exposure, not everyone
uses Photoshop, and plenty of people don't scan negs, but, rather, make
prints directly from

I can't, personally, think of a case in which I'd want grain. I see its
presence in certain images as a necessary tradeoff for getting the images at
