Full frame lenses on APS-C are a mixed bag. A 16mp sensor is going to outresolve all but the best lenses. On one hand, you are taking from the sweet spot which is where the lens resolves the most detail, but on the other hand you are not utilizing the full image circle of the lens and thus throwing

Outlook does the same, I find it difficult to say it is a bug or a feature though. OTOH in Outlook I can set an option to store the sent email with the replied to one, if it is in a folder other than Inbox. But that doesn't mean of course that the list received it, only that I saved my sent email.
