That's not fair: The MZ-S is clearly an F100 competitor. A used LN F100 cost
999$.
There are only few pro's et con's. If you own some Pentax/K-mount lenses,

Hi
Zeiss Jena Lenses a generally very good. I use the MF lenses for my Pentacon

The 35mm lenses will not function like K-mounts on Pentax cameras (the ones
made for Praktica). You must use them with manual aperture (just like the
SMC 3.5/28mm shift lens) - no automatic stopping down when

In the following link there is reference to "color reversal film".

BTW, I did never understand what the "S" stands for. Do you? The slanted
top, maybe? Or the (Program) Select wheel?

Hi Ken
In this case I think it means flash ready signal in viewfinder and maybe
automatic setting of the camera flash sync speed. For more modern flashes it
also means TTL ability and even automatic flash zooming (like AF500FTZ) with
i.e. Pentax Z- series. This particular flash should be
Hi all
Do any of you great guys know if there was ever a lens hood for the
A2.8/20mm. Or if any available hood fits this lens. I sure would like to
have one.
Thanks

Hi all
I like mine, I'll use it until I get a FA 1.4 (which BTW is not on top op my
"list of Pentax dreams" - (the MZ-S and the 3.5/15mm is).
I think the right price should be aprox. 200$

Hello William
What do you think of the K105/2.8. I've had it for many years, but I hardly
ever use it. Should I?
BTW: I hardly ever use the 2.0/85mm either.

Hi Alistair
I reasently asked Pentax Denmark about the price for new right-angle
A-finder. As fare as I remember they wanted approx. 1000$ for it!!
I bought an older version (K1000) at ebay for less than 100$. It's quite
nice. I'm going to alter the mount to fit my Super A. It can be done by
Hi
Why not add speed priority as well as a program mode? Even matrix metering!
Sorry, but I like the Super A so much - combine the two (and a little
extra); and there's my camera. (Ad some features from the PZ1-p; there's the
MZ-S)
