So, I understand the problem from the UX perspective, but I don't think

At this point, we do not have a release scheduled. 23.10 doesn't seem to be

Next, edit /etc/apt/sources.list.d/pgadmin4.list and make sure the repo
path has the correct codename in it for your updated release (e.g. jammy
for 22.04).
Finally, run "apt update" and then try re-installing.

you'll get from an SQL query. pgAdmin has a
significant amount of code to reverse engineer the DDL from the system

Sounds like you need to update your system; Let's Encrypt had a root
certificate expire at the end of September which has been causing problems
for people who haven't updated their OS for a while.

At present, we cannot as it's become slightly larger than our size limit. I
have requested an increase: https://github.com/pypa/pypi-support/issues/1356

For as long as the code is there, I'm sure that won't be a problem. Just
post any questions you may have on the pgadmin-hackers list.
Thanks!

It looks to me like the repo config package was downgraded to the one in
the PGDG repo. Maybe add:
exclude=pgadmin*
in your config file for the PGDG repo?

Essentially, you need to add:
SECURITY_EMAIL_VALIDATOR_ARGS={"check_deliverability": False}
to your config_local.py or config_system.py file. See
https://www.pgadmin.org/docs/pgadmin4/5.4/config_py.html for more info on
those files.

the RPMs. If
you really want to use a from-source installation, you'll have to build
pgAdmin yourself, manually. Which is a lot of work, and quite complex.

it most
likely won't work even if you forced the installation.

We don't create checksums for the Windows installers because they are
digitally signed at the time of creation and Windows will automatically
warn if the signature is invalid.

you reply to the wrong thread? This one has nothing to do with httpd or
directory permissions.
The original problem you reported here seems (from our testing, and that of
other users) to be resolved by adding the config option to config_local.py
(or config_system.py) as noted in the link I shared:
https://
ssues/6550#note-27 - whilst I
haven't yet tested it myself, it seems you can disable the new behaviour.

oes it work if you use a real, deliverable email address?
We think the problem might be that the flask-security-too module that we
use is now checking to ensure that the address given is actually
deliverable.

ack, but only once (unless I copy again). Pasting from other sources
doesn't seem to work.
Nikhil, can you investigate please (and create a ticket)?

Thanks Fahar. Patch committed - it should be included in the snapshot

Yeah, I'm not worried about
tall VMware tools).
There's a test build at
https://developer.pgadmin.org/~dpage/non-admin-install/pgadmin4-5.3-x64.exe.
Note that it is not signed, so you will get a warning, but that can be
ignored for the purposes of this test.

You can use the Host Agent field to specify a particular node that a job
should run on - see
