The simplest approach is to leave the NAS as it is but stop running LMS on it and instead get a Raspberry Pi & piCorePlayer and configure it as an LMS server and point it at the files on the NAS. Alternatively if you want to keep a one box option then you could install a number of different flavours of Linux that will support the latest LMS. Debian for example or if you want the box as Media Server then one of Daphile or Vortexbox may be more suitable. However your existing disk may be formatted with ZFS which won't be readable by other flavours of Linux without some work. One other word of warning if you decide to use the existing box and intend to run Spotty on LMS. The box needs to be 64bit. Spotty won't run on 32bit architecture. Today Spotty is working fine. Yesterday between 8pm and 11pm CEST Spotify had issues according to 'Downdetector' (http://downdetector.com/status/spotify). This was by coincidence the time I decided to upgrade to Spotty 2.3 What's a bit unfortunate is that a hanging call to api.spotify.com in Spotty pulls the whole LMS into the grave. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Squeeze Commander - many items won't play
I'm trying Squeeze Commander again just for a change. I don't seem to be able to play Favourites or Radio stations (including BBC iPlayer). My LMS is crashing every time I try and use Spotty and the Squeezebox Touch reverts to the mysqueezebox.com server. That server.log file doesn't show any sign of Spotty failure. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Squeeze Commander - many items won't play
Hi Kidstypike, I checked 'Squeeze Commander' and confirmed that the 'Favorites' and 'Radio' functions didn't function even after clearing the cache. I checked my other apps and found that 'Orange Squeeze' worked fine but 'Squeezer' had the same problem as 'Squeeze Commander'. Returned to 'Squeeze Commander' and found that 'Favorites' had started working but failed again after checking 'Radio'. Tried 'Squeeze Commander' on another device and 'Favorites' worked until I tried using 'Radio' (which didn't work) and found that 'Favorites' had stopped working again. Looks like there's so weird interaction between 'Favorites' and 'Radio'. All the other functions work fine. I will continue with aac removed from the codec list and switch to the mp3-stream for radioparadise. What I find strange is that the behaviour of the players changed between version 0.2.15.1 and version 0.3.0.0. Hi Spin Exactly the same just happened to me! I fooled about with the settings, (not sure what I changed, if anything) and tried to play a favourite, which worked! Tried to play a radio station, (which didn't work) and now Favourites no longer work. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
I have an iPeng oddness which has started today - first I noticed the player I had selected at the bottom of the screen (the only one switched on) would change to one of the others on the network. When this happened, the list of artists/albums on the right would reset to the top if I was searching for something. Then the correct player would reappear at the bottom and the list would reset again. This was happening once or twice a minute. If I looked at the multi-player list I could see players were disappearing from it and reappearing for a few seconds, seemingly at random. When the player that was switched on disappeared, the player at the top of the list became the main player... At one point the player I was listening to was listed twice! Any idea what may be happening? As I say, this has just started. I have upgraded to the latest version with no change. 7.8.0, 1 x SB3, 1 x Boom, 1 x Touch, 1 x Radio, 1 x PiCore mberger's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22535 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Yes, thats what is happening. The selected player is changing all the time, without me asking it to. Also one player is currently listed three times, its going beserk! Currently running 9.4.1 - I dont know the previous version, sorry. No Apple watch. Currently there is only one router and one LMS, connected to a mixture of wireless and wired players. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
9.4.1, so not the beta, could you try the beta? I assume you did already try things like a cold restart of the app and to restart the router? I assume you are not seeing duplicate players in the web interface or a Squeezebox itself? Sometimes players keep, disconnecting from the server and reconnecting, that tends to confuse iPeng. But its good to hear its 9.4.1, I made some player-switching changes for watchOS yesterday so if this was todays beta I would have assumed something went wrong with this. Hi, the latest iPeng beta is constantly crashing on my iPhone 7 with iOS 11.3. I am using VoiceOver, maybe this is related, but deactivating it does also not help.
