I like the artwork that is created for missing artwork. I have several live albums that don't have artwork. In SC they all appear with the missing artwork image, but in Muso, it creates an image that contains the aritst/album name text in it. ___

Hmmm, I have imported the SC database, and it says it found 23,535 tracks. However, it is only displaying 3,340 tracks when I browse the music database. It appears to be filtered somehow - all albums appear to be live albums. I haven't entered anything in the filter box. I'm not sure what

I'll have a think about this. It should certainly be possible to add both options, but at the very least, it should always be clear what you're going to get. There's an existing bug for the main sync ui on the squeezeboxes and controller as well - I'll see what the current thinking is there

If you are using Windows and install SC 7.3.x - there is automated install using the Extension DOwnloader which will install mplayer automatically on the PC. Your PC will need to be on and SC running to do the transcoding from RealAudio. -- bpa

Not me either actually, when thinking about it ? where to stop volume etc ? if you have your power on resume setting as I explained it does work, wonderfully so. But some of the settings breaks the intended behaviour. Probably all that sets the player in pause something when it is powered on.

The SysInternals ProcessExplorer is your friend for debugging things like this. That's what I resorted to in the end. I don't have a solution for the quotes problem. I think this may be a limitation of the prefs system that SC uses. I suspected that. Not to worry, I'll either add another

I've taken a different approach. A linux script that uses mplayer to rip a stream. If its mp3, I just rip it. If its something else, I capture a wave and lame it to mp3. The script takes a time and records that many minutes from the url you specify. I have cron jobs which kick of the
