The Finding Artwork phase - is this just finding missing artwork (i.e. does
it use artwork that SC has already scanned - is it the original file/embedded
artwork, or does it use cached images from the SC cache)?
Does Muso store details (eg. artwork) in its own folder? Does Muso modify

I like the artwork that is created for missing artwork. I have several live
albums that don't have artwork. In SC they all appear with the missing artwork
image, but in Muso, it creates an image that contains the aritst/album name
text in it.

Hmmm, I have imported the SC database, and it says it found 23,535 tracks.
However, it is only displaying 3,340 tracks when I browse the music database.
It appears to be filtered somehow - all albums appear to be live albums. I
haven't entered anything in the filter box.

all other applications, so when I was trying to find my correct mySQL Port,
userId, password, DB name, etc, it was obscuring my other windows with that
info in. NB. it's a bit weird that other app windows can appear

I'll have a think about this. It should certainly be possible to add
both options, but at the very least, it should always be clear what
you're going to get. There's an existing bug for the main sync ui on
the squeezeboxes and controller as well - I'll see what the current
thinking is there

For those of you running SqueezeCenter on a different machine to muso,
it appears that you have to :
(1) make sure port 9092 (or whatever your port is set to) is open on
the server,
(2) unbind the database so that other machines can access it. It
probably needs some experts on here to verify

If you are using Windows and install SC 7.3.x - there is automated
install using the Extension DOwnloader which will install mplayer
automatically on the PC.
Your PC will need to be on and SC running to do the transcoding from
RealAudio.

But some of the settings breaks the intended behaviour.
Probably all that sets the player in pause something when it is powered
on.
I've been thinking about what a recording plugin would look like.
To use - add a menu to a playing URL right arrow (e.g. just like Add
to favorites, More Info) which would start an instance of VLC using
the playing URL - this would avoid all the parsing and messing as SC

I've been using SuperDateTime for a good couple of years now, and really
appreciate all the work that's gone in to it. A small but annoying

Well you do need 1.0.5 - maybe your previous download file is cached by

My SqueezeCenter music folder contains shortcut links to folders that
contain the actual music content:
M:\Music\Slimserver\Music\
Another thing - I can only get to the settings page from the Plugins tab. Most
plugins have a settings page accessible from the Advanced settings tab.

The SysInternals ProcessExplorer is your friend for debugging things like this.
That's what I resorted to in the end.
I don't have a solution for the quotes problem. I think this may be a
limitation of the prefs system that SC uses.
