On Windows 7 RC (build 7100) it works after adding the policy-plugin.

It displays in the lower left
corner of the display, but a bit too low and too far to the left.
As a sidenote to previous posts by other people: I don't have the issue
where it seems to be repeating the same bunch of songs after a while.

No I can't. I've just installed SB player as well, and you can't have
both active at the same time. It's one or the other.

Just to add some counterweight here: I've been using Sugarcube for a
very long time now (I don't remember even with which version I started)
and it's been working perfectly ever since. In my current installation
it's queued up 18609 tracks, of which only 3.245% were randomly chosen.

rename the default.m3lib (found in
C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\MusicIP\MusicIP Mixer) to
something else and let the MusicIP Mixer rescan your c
Theoretically speaking it shouldn't have any consequences, as all data
is also saved into the MusicIP database (default.m3lib), which is where
the mixing system gets all data. I think your problem is caused by a
combination of factors: adding music to the MusicIP database through the
MusicIP Mixer

It's pretty self-explanatory: you start it up and walk through it from
top to bottom. It will allow you to check the state of all components in
the chain, and indicate whether there are any problems. If there's a
problem you have the possibility to uninstall and reinstall the
problematic component

You are 100% correct. Spicefly Sugarcube even has a feature to allow you
to translate the path your music is found at (Dynamic Path Conversion).
Example:
- LMS is running on your NAS
- Music is on your NAS
- LMS sees your music on e.g. /mnt/music/
- MusicIP server is running on a PC
- MusicIP
MusicIP server must indeed be running. On the bright side, just about
any X86 machine is able to run it, so an old netbook with an Atom cpu is
quite enough and won't consume all that much power.

On the off chance that something went wrong with the automatic update, I
just downloaded the most recent plugin release (0.4), overwrote what was
present on my LMS and restarted it. No change in the interface, so the
Essentia filters are still missing (they are missing from Material as

Did a new git pull, and all is now indeed working as intended, "-f bem"

I did that, been running it with only Bliss & Musly, in a 50/50
"simplemixed" simalgo, while analysing with Essentia in the background.
