Just to add to what 33squeezebox_Fan mentioned, reading the patents a while back MIP fingerprints by taking the source file and converting it to a wav file before it does it's analysis. Therefore if you have issues they are likely in that conversion step, maybe timeouts, beyond the capabilities

Before I do all that, what you said before got me thinking. I'm now looking with MP3Tag at my files and am noticing that I'm missing quite a few FLAC Fingerprint tags, though as I said before, I do have all the FLAC Analysis tags. Could this be my problem?

Theoretically speaking it shouldn't have any consequences, as all data is also saved into the MusicIP database (default.m3lib), which is where the mixing system gets all data. I think your problem is caused by a combination of factors: adding music to the MusicIP database through the MusicIP

Does the MusicIP headless service use the same library as the MusicIP application ? If they use different libraries and it's only the one used by MusicIP application that is updated, that could explain the issue. I have a vague memory that I've seen someone that had some issue where the GUI
