Protel has the typo.
The Sch server lists the import/export option as AutoCAD DWG/DFX but it's
correct in the Pcb server.
Used it a few times and it worked for the most part.

Make sure the 'Sheet Path' in the part properties is blank in the library
and shows an asterix * in the placed component on the Sch.
I once had somebody enter part name details into this field in the library
and the component refused to connect to anything in the netlist even though
it was listed
ement from a different library resulting in
incorrect connections.
IMO the benefits would far outweigh the dangers. If they fix the library
linking problems in the next version everything would be a lot safer.

then I have always left them in their default positions with only a few
extra items added in between. Commonly used functions have been added to
toolbars for ease of use.

* To post a mess
ur and not SCH components. It was noticed
when the polygon was re-poured and didn't connect to the freepads because
they had become No Net. The preview sync list did show it was removing the
net names until I locked the free pads then it was happy.

g via the mapped drive path and things requiring path names, like
logos, were altered. It was a while ago.
The interesting thing was that the logo still displayed correctly but it
also displayed an 'error file not found logoxxx.bmp etc' type text string
over the top. As long as it works o
around - always go the long way and use full path names.

G'day all.
Just a bit of extra info,
the * key for toggling layers will only place a via while you are actually
routing a trace otherwise it just changes layers and only the key on the
numeric keypad seems to work in this capacity on this machine ( not the
shift 8 key ).

G'day,
I too have had to suffer with this lame "EDA Tools Cafe News" spam and I
haven't posted here for a couple of months.
They must get the info from the archives. I did however register with PCDmag
list a few days before it started. Maybe it comes from there.

enabled. Once the nets are assigned you can repour the
planes/fills and reload the netlist anytime as per usual options.

Thanks Ian
I do now recall something similar h
ications which are required to work under extremes
of vibration and temperature.
