the triangle, next to the common earth) and tend to shear the grommet,

Sttrange the folder of the coupe indicates 790kg unladen, as the later
folder with both coupe and 2+2 indicates 840 kg for the saloon and 820
kg for 2+2.

In true Ford tradition, any gearbox will probably fit .
You have to find out though, what ecu fits your requirements.
Can recommend Megasquirt based systems for easy involvent in tuning and

On idle, the engine rpm will vary between 500-2500 rpm. It starts as a small
bandwith, say1000-1100 rpm, but when the engine gets warmer, the bandwith
increases to the above mentioned.

PS when I just bought the Q, it developped similar problems on the
motorway and I had to drive very economical to keep the engine going.

About the fumes: it is only apparent when top is off, so not coming from
inside.Looks like the rear is making too much turbulence, causing low pressure
behind the occupants.
So maybe a wind deflector mx5-like can help.

So this is the red car featured on the factory leaflet, with the doctored photo
below, presenting the round headlight version.
The doctored photo presented the 'normal' Quantum frontend on the 2+2 , but
taken from a saloon.
