Club riding can be a lot of fun and quite rewarding. I always liked riding

I have these tires on a Niner Sir9 that I setup single speed and never
really experienced self steering issues with them. I run them as a gravel
tire though, so that may have something to do with not feeling it or maybe

I built my Appaloosa, size 51 and grilver in color, as a single speed with a
Paul Melvin and Choco moose bars originally. Rode it for a few months like that
but went to a rear XT 10 speed set up I pulled off my Trek Fuel EX but with the

The Hunqapillar is a pretty stout trail touring bike that basically sat between
the Atlantis and the Bombadil when it was first coming out. It’s been my
experience that it rides nicely when loaded down or when riding chunkier stuff.
The Appaloosa is different, being a bike that sits next to

I remember the Bomba being marketed pretty heavily with the old style
mustache bars, which I'm sure would work great on a Hunq frame too.
I was very close to buying both a Bomba and a Hunq at different times and
did a bunch of research about those frames (I still think the Hunqapillar

designed for those.
In the Riv video that Jay Richey made that featured the Hunqapillar he was

The only experience I've had with tubulars are on a cyclocross bike and I
thought they were the bomb. I did not like gluing them and felt the hassle
of that was too much for me, but I felt they rode pretty nicely on a
cyclocross course. I'm tubeless now when I can, except on the road. I've

ones, to a Wahoo Kickr smart trainer. The best and most enjoyable I've used
is the smart trainer. Get on Zwift, or Trainer road and you don't have to

I’ve noticed Klein bikes and Barracuda bikes from the 90’s going for large
cash...the only reason I even looked them up was because those were the bikes I
listed after back then. I wound up with a Specialized Stumpjumper which I still
have and still occasionally take out. Modern mtbs are better

35mm stuff. I personally think the MeSuper and the Super Program or even
just the Program cameras with a fixed focal length lens of your choosing
make a really great, small setup for automatic exposure/manual focus stuff.

Best course of action would be to leave the area if a driver got more
aggressive than just yelling. You won’t prove anything to them by engaging and
it can only really go downhill.
I no longer ride on the roadways as I’ve noticed the last few years an
increasing hostility towards bike riders.
When I had my Roadeo is used the nitto “mark’s bars” that Riv used to sell.
They had a very comfortable drop and ramp area. Heck, I may still have them in

Also, as soon as the UCI allowed discs in cyclocross races, everybody switched.
It was two or three years and every racer was on discs, and that is because

Appaloosa running 57mm G Ones and I just don't see how a 2.8 would ride

can run the 57mm Schwalbe G one with a bit of room for dirt and mud but not
room for fenders.
