Been meaning to ask, the Clementine is the first bike I have owned with the
seat stay bridge having no brake or fender hole, but rather a hole that
faces the ground. I assume I get the other two attachment points lined up,
then drill a hole through the fender, and use a bolt with a flat head for

Best looking Clementine shots I have seen so far.
Normally, to my eyes, the shots on the RBW website make the Clementine
model look pedestrian, like every curved tube framed hybrid/comfort bike
you see in any corner shop.

The clicks are very close together, so you do settle in one click at a time in
one direction, but it's smooth friction in the other direction, same as the
cheapies I expect. As for adjusted riding styles, I think adjusted shifting
styles is more like it, and a mild adjustment at that.

Interesting approach. I put a 3-speed IGH (with stem shifter) on my
Quickbeam and did a short self-supported tour with it back in May. There
were a few places where lower gears would have been ideal, but overall I
enjoyed the QB in touring mode.

I use latex tubes in 3/5 bikes, and they have slick valve stems. I push
them to the side to put on a pump head, but again, because of the way a
Hirame pump head works, it goes on with no friction.

That type stem is common on road tubes mostly with long stems . If using an
older pump with a worn fitting it might have trouble gripping the stem and
leaking while pumping.
If you prefer threaded just exchange them out with a tube with a threaded
stem.
