Being just for the heckuvit , add to your frames for comparison the 62cm Betty and Cheviot . I take it you are not interested in a step-thru(but there is no concern about dismounting offroad though!), but you can see how easy it is to increase reach and f-c by tweaking the angles and rake.

Somewhat related: I built up a wide compact double from a an old Deore triple crank. I used an outer ring in the middle position and a granny in the 74bcd position. I shaved down the bolts to work to take into consideration the little indent used to make the bolts flush with an outer ring.
