For doom 2 you need the wad's. Just replace them w/ the doom 1 (I think this works, never actually tried it, I'm not much of a gamer). For quake you need the pak's in a subdirectory of quake named "id1" (notice the lowercase), which also need to be lower case. The you either need quake for

I too had this problem and I think I figured it out! NETSCAPE is a color hog! It allocates all available colors for its own use, this will cause problems if you want to launch a color app after launching netscape. The cool thing is if you lauch Netscape last no problem! hope this helps Brian
