on the low end of the AM dial. Toyo said they never heard of this before

The static was similar to an old spark-gap transmitter running..there is

a 210C4 but it probably
is a 210A4. The 210C4 has the harness totally inside the antenna.

is lift off the lead that goes to the + output
and insert a 12 volt lamp between that point and
the + output.
Now get yourself a variable power supply and
connect it to the sense lead to the O/V module.
