So you *DID give the right* to See and Modify the Custom Fields for all *
Privileged* at the Queue level. You granted these rights to both all
Privileged users and also to a group. You need to remove those rights from
Privileged for that Queue.

RT should be working
It works now. I removed a bunch of packages that were installed with
MacPorts. When I checked for dependencies a bunch were reported missing that
had not been missing before. I installed them through CPAN and now RT
loads.

today i figured out on a fresh RT 3.8.8 installation, that a group with only
ShowConfigTab Right granted globally is able to see all users without having
the right AdminUsers. All other Options like Groups/Queues/CF's are not display
any information, only the Admin/Users is listing
