Most servos only turn 60 degrees total. I've got a plane that uses HS85's
for flaps too, and I do get 90 degrees. Have you set up your radio to
offset the servo so that you are getting the full 60 degrees of travel to
lower the flaps? In other words, you don't want to have the servo at it's
a different servo on the elevator. This is
NOT for a big bucks molded ship, and I don't plan on putting digitals or anything too
expensive in it.

On my flaps, at least, I use masking tape. Never had it come loose on me.
If you have a two or three piece wing, and you can get to the servo from
the root, a lot of people say that you can take a long dowel and tap on the
servo from the side, which will pop it free.

You'll probably want to use a medium weight glass cloth. The stuff you
have may or may not be that. As for the epoxy, 5 min is a bit thick for
that type of work. At a minimum, I'd use 30 min, or better yet, a 20 min
laminating epoxy, which is really thin.

Not sure if anyone else experiences this, but I have problems with purples and blues
when viewed with a backdrop of distant hills or mountains (so you get the purple/brown
sort of effect). At one time, my Renegade sloper had a beautiful pearl blue paint job
