Given that my NAS is a lot stronger than a RPI3 this is strange. With no
active playback the server becomes unreachable for more than 5 minutes.
This is with the performance set to maximum.

For info, if you run LMS with the --nomysqueezebox parameter, MSB.com
doesn't appear as an option at LMS > Home > Extras > Music Source.
That's true. But then there's no way the mysb tab would be missing from

One thing I did find odd is that when he checked the Tidal Plugin and
saved it with the Apply button, it never asked him for Tidal Username or
Password. There is no place this could be saved for it to pull from
since the Vortexbox Server was completely reformatted during the install
of Vortexbox

When I went back to the Win 10 PC, I saw that there was a dialog
alerting me that "Spotty.exe" had crashed.

When I pressed RIGHT to select the LMS, the Classic SqueezeBox suddenly
powered off.
SB Classic never really powers off.
I powered it back on and could then get into the Spotty plugin without
any "hang" or issue.

Was able to go into the Windows Error Reporting and find the event log.
It lists the following text, which I believe is the exact error from the
dialog:
"spotty.exe has stopped working"
That's the first time you report this. Did the same happen before? Would
those timestamps match the moments
What browser are you using on what platform? Have you tried using a
different browser or a different platform, too? The encoding must get
broken somewhere on the way from your browser to that function call.

The "database locked" issue would probably happen if you tried to play
something before the scan had completed. I thought I had addressed this
in 7.9, but maybe there still is an edge case.

Concerning Spotty, everything works well with ipeng and orange squeeze
but it doesn't appear in LMS menu web page (my apps) ... I tried to

over 10 years without a problem. I wanted to update to 7.9.1 so I could
use the new Spotty plugin.
You don't need 7.9.1 for Spotty. But WHS1 will not do. It's too old, I'm

Deleting all .db-files except persist.db did the trick.
Music & Artist Information uses the image proxy (imgproxy.db) a lot.
Please check your MAI settings to see whether it uses a local folder for
the artist artwork, too. If so, replace files in there.
However, once again, LMS downloaded

12.0.1 always fails to rescan in LMS

to the folder on my NAS where my daughter´s music is located?
That's the exact use case for the Library Views plugin in 7.9. Create
views on your overall collection. I do have a "Kids" menu with only
music tagged for kids.
On the library and XML file from this version, it seems the iTunes LMS
plugin did work. However, my playlists took a lot longer to import -
with iTunes 12.0.1, a 'clear all and rescan' takes about 4.5 hours in
total; scanning iTunes 12.3.0 took 7.5.
If you check Settings/Information you would

point upping the Database Memory Config setting from 'Normal', as this
only has options for above 1GB and above 2GB. Is it likely to have any
